Originally from Hawaii, moved to Midland, NC in 2018. Prior to living here, I was General Manager, Hawaii/Pacific Rim for a division of Sally Beauty for 22 years before retiring. Under my purview - field sales, inside sales, customer service, a distribution center, 6 stores. Before joining the Sally group, I owned a tax preparation /bookkeeping firm focusing on small business with emphasis on legal, entertainment and beauty industries. During this time, I also taught beginner modules in the IRS VITA program and worked with a concert promotion company where I was able to work directly with some of my favorite artists - America, The Commodores, Kenny Rogers, Tom Jones, Natalie Cole, the Righteous Brothers, the Drifters, the Diamonds, and Barbara Mandrell to name just a few.
