The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, have been providing an outstanding and unique fan experience while conducting unprecedented community outreach for the past 24 years. With 70 home games every year from April through September, the Intimidators offer affordable, family friendly entertainment for all ages. In 2005, The team brought a South Atlantic League championship to Kannapolis, the same season the White Sox won the World Series, becoming the most recent team in the league to accomplish the feat. More than 75 players have gone from Kannapolis to the Major Leagues since the team was founded in 1995, including former National League MVP Jimmy Rollins and former Heisman Trophy winner and NFL Rushing Leader Ricky Williams. In 2018, the Intimidators won a Golden Bobblehead for "Best Community Initiative" after creating Cam's Clubhouse, baseball's first sensory friendly room for children at the ballpark!
The Intimidators Stadium - is conveniently located off Interstate 85 at Exit 63 on Lane Street in Kannapolis, just a half-hour from downtown Charlotte and 20 minutes from Salisbury.
