It's no secret that the dropout phenomenon in this country is at epidemic proportions. Nationally, statistics show that 1 out of 3 public high school students won't graduate. These dropouts create tremendous burdens on our economy. Together we can make a difference in at risk students' lives. YOU can easily make a difference in the lives of Cabarrus County children! "Chow Down For Children" to support students in Cabarrus County schools! Chow Down For Children provides an opportunity for restaurateurs and sponsors to support at-risk students in their community by donating a portion of the profits from breakfast, lunch and/or dinner to CIS on Friday, June 12th, Saturday June 13th and/or Sunday June 14th. Don't forget to plan a night out with your friends and families, because a portion of each participating restaurant's sales will go directly to support children in Cabarrus County Public Schools through the support and service of Communities In Schools.
