The Governmental Affairs Committee focuses on public policy and legislative issues in areas of economic development, education & workforce, energy & the environment, healthcare and transportation. Meetings occur on second Tuesdays of even-numbered months (February, April, June, August, October and December). Co-chairs are Bill Hubbard/CMC-NorthEast and Drew Fowlie/Worksite Benefit Consultants. Bill tracks local and state issues while Drew follows federal issues. February meeting topics include solar energy and cell tower placement/land use & zoning. RSVPs a must due to limited space.
