Come celebrate art and enjoy a cookout at Subculture City in Kannapolis and bring some food to cook out on the grill. The goal of this art show is to have a laid back atmosphere to enjoy art and have a cookout and enjoy each others company. We have enough room for about 20-30 artists to put up 2-3 pieces of art each. We are asking people to bring food to cook and also treat this like a pot luck dinner. Also, we will bringing in a record player for some music, so if you have any vinyl you'd like to play, come on out and we can spin some records together! It's free to display your art, but we ask artists to e-mail mknox@modernfilmzine.com so we have a head count on how many artists will have their work on display. We also ask that artists have their work on display no later than 5 p.m. the day of the event.
