From deep in the Appalachians where the Great Smoky Mountains meet the Blue Ridge, five friends came together to form Balsam Range in 2007. They already had long solo careers with Grammy and IBMA awards and collaborations with performers such as Doc Watson and Ricky Skaggs under their belts.
